Instructional Designer - Part Time, Temporary

JOB TITLE: Instructional Designer – Part Time Temporary PRIORITY DEADLINE: March 27, 2026 CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time, Temporary DIVISION: Academics DEPARTMENT:Dual Enrollment & Instructional Design REPORTS TO: Director of Dual Enrollment SUPERVISES: Not Applicable MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design or related field Advanced knowledge in applying common instructional design principles and best practices Experience designing course materials and operating learning management systems (LMS) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: At least two years of relevant professional experience/instructional design experience Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Experience as an administrator of a LMS, such as Brightspace/Desire2Learn Understanding of website design best practices Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe, Canva, etc.) Excellent project management and organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues Experience teaching others and developing learning materials concerning the use of hardware and software applications Knowledge of educational assessment and evaluation methods Experience with conducting course reviews via an industry recognized rubric, and communicating results and recommendations Excellent customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Highly attentive to detail
