Configuration of POB templates, recognition profiles, IFRS 15 rules, standalone selling price (SSP) allocation, contract asset/liability accounting, and incremental costs. Automation of allocation, accrual/deferral, revenue postings, and retroactive adjustments. Fiori dashboards for revenue backlog, POB status, reconciliation, and IFRS 15 disclosure reports. Expected benefits: IFRS 15 compliance and reduction of audit risks with standardized rules and evidence per contract/POB. Automation of allocation, accruals/deferrals, and postings; reduced reliance on spreadsheets. Real-time visibility of recognized revenue, backlog, and contract asset/liability balances. Robust management of modifications and retroactive adjustments, with transparent impact on P&L and balance sheet. Ability to integrate financing contracts or custom developments while maintaining IFRS 15 logic in RAR. Considerations: Correct modeling of POBs and event mapping (delivery, service provision, acceptance, invoicing, cancellation). Integration with external/Z contracts: consistency of identifiers, dates, quantities, and terms.
