Job Description The SAP MPS (Master Production Schedule) consultant is responsible for implementing and configuring the SAP PP (Production Planning) module focused on MPS, ensuring that the company can efficiently plan and control the production of its final products, train staff, and ensure the proper functioning of the system. Main activities of an SAP MPS consultant: Requirements analysis: Understand the company's needs regarding production planning and define how the SAP MPS system can satisfy them. Configuration and parameterization of SAP PP-MPS: Adapt the SAP system to the company's particularities, including defining materials, work centers, capacities, among others. Production planning and scheduling: Create and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) detailing production quantities and dates of final products, based on demand and forecasts. Demand management: Integrate demand management into the MPS to ensure production aligns with market needs. Resource optimization: Ensure production is planned efficiently, considering capacities, material availability, and other factors.
