Job Title: Software Development Ops Engineer - Cloud Applications Job Location: Remote (Toronto, ON) Job Type: T4 Contract Experience: 5+ Years Rate: CAD 45 - 50 per hour Role Summary: NearSource is seeking a Software Development Ops Engineer - Cloud Applications with strong software engineering and DevOps experience to maintain, secure, and support cloud-based and desktop software applications. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure management, CI/CD pipeline maintenance, technical documentation, software troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of deployment and maintenance processes. About the Project: The role supports software products that enable customers to visualize 3D models in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). These products include cloud and web components for model uploading, processing, browsing, and synchronization, along with multiplayer capabilities and Unity clients for VR experiences across multiple devices. The selected candidate will collaborate with Infrastructure, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to maintain reliable software operations, improve system documentation, and strengthen DevOps practices.
