Head of Camper Support & Family Engagement

Description The Head of Camper Support & Family Engagement serves as an in-house expert on working effectively with gifted and 2e students, and as a key connector between NMC and the families we serve. In this role, you will drive awareness of our programs and ensure that families feel welcomed, informed, and supported at every stage of their journey with us. You will also serve as the functional lead for Camper Support Directors — members of each camp’s leadership team who manage parent communications and act as the on-site experts and escalation points for camper social and emotional support, including behavior concerns, homesickness, conflict resolution, and accommodations. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in providing social, emotional, and behavioral support to children ages 8 - 18, including significant experience working with gifted and 2e students and their families. Success in this role requires an aptitude for and interest in marketing and customer service, but previous full-time experience in these areas is not required. Please note: This is a remote role for most of the year but will require extensive travel during the summer months. Candidates should plan on traveling for work without PTO available between June 1st and July 31st.
