The National Energy Foundation (NEF) has been working to achieve its energy literacy mission for 50 years through the implementation of student and teacher education programs focused on energy, natural resources, and the environment, and through the development of premier instructional materials. NEF is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Director of Client Solutions to help create solutions for and build partnerships with industry, government, and private foundations. The position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, but NEF will accommodate a fully remote working arrangement for the right candidate. The new Director of Client Solutions will lead NEF’s client solutions/business development and marketing efforts across the U.S. NEF provides a supportive culture, flexible schedules, generous benefits and the opportunity to put employee skills to make a difference. Roles and Responsibilities: Help secure funding to sustain and grow NEF Identify, evaluate, and pursue growth opportunities within and adjacent to the energy industry, including electric and natural gas utilities, state energy programs, private foundations, and major technology companies Direct NEF business development activities, including in the energy efficiency, energy safety, electric transportation, energy workforce, water efficiency, and other mission-aligned areas.
