Database Administrator

Overview Nakupuna Companies is looking for a Database Administrator to provide Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Business Systems Center (BSC) contractor support services for the team. This role designs, implements, secures, and sustains databases and data-management capabilities. Support services include database design and development, performance tuning, testing, backup and recovery, release support, documentation, and coordination with application-development teams. Develop and implement database objects, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and schemas. Create and maintain data models to ensure data consistency and integrity. Implement database security measures, including authentication, authorization, and access controls, in compliance with applicable DoD and DoN policies. Optimize database performance through indexing, caching, and query optimization. Maintain current database design, development, and implementation documentation, including entity-relationship diagrams and data-flow diagrams.
