Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Position Summary: Business Analyst supporting Finance & Accounting initiatives. Responsible for requirements, process documentation, and data analysis to enable reporting, reconciliation, and system improvements. This role requires strong BA fundamentals plus advanced SQL and Excel skills. Works closely with Finance and IT teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis (Core) Gather and document business and functional requirements Write user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps Break down complex processes into actionable work items Document workflows and ensure requirements are clear and testable Partner with stakeholders to validate solutions Delivery Support Agile delivery (backlog, sprints, UAT) Investigate and resolve data/system issues Support Finance-related tickets and reporting requests Requirements Business Analysis (Required) Strong Insurance business concepts. Requirements gathering and documentation Process mapping and workflow analysis Strong stakeholder communication Ability to produce clear, testable requirements Finance Knowledge Working knowledge of GL, AP/AR, and financial reporting General Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive Experience with Agile / Azure DevOps Experience Requirements 3+ years as a Business Analyst (required) Experience supporting Finance/Accounting or financial data (required) Must work aligned to CST hours (until 12 PM CST) Required Qualifications: Bac
