About the role We are seeking a high-performance Engineering Manager to lead a dedicated team of Engineers building and scaling Focal , with a strong focus on innovation, reliability, and delivering impactful solutions for our customers. What you'll do As a Software Engineering Manager , your daily workload might include: Manage and mentor a team of engineers to design, develop and maintain product features. Ensure the code and design quality are against the industry’s best practices and highest standards. Coach and mentor team members on high-level design, architecture, effort sizing, and testing practices. Give engineers feedback on their day-to-day job performance. Steer the engineers’ individual learning and development plans. Initiate hiring and the allocation of any resources needed
