Principal Business Systems Analyst (Business Intelligence & Reporting)

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Principal Business Systems Analyst at MKS, Inc. you will partner with business and IT partners to gather business intelligence reporting and analytic requirements, write functional specification documents to map data from applications, create report & dashboard wireframes, conduct detailed source data analysis, identify data gaps and work with the business and technical teams to implement high-quality BI solutions. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Reporting. You Will Make an Impact By: · Partnering with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document reporting and analytics requirements, translating business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and technical report designs. · Designing, developing, testing, and implementing data and reporting solutions that support enterprise-wide business intelligence and analytics initiatives. · Leading requirements definition, business process analysis, and documentation efforts, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), while obtaining stakeholder alignment and approval. · Collaborating with project managers, architects, and technical teams to define solution roadmaps, delivery plans, and reporting strategies that align with organizational objectives. · Leading testing activities, including integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
