Senior Azure Engineer

This is a remote position. Responsibilities: Engineer complex Azure cloud infrastructures for internal environments. Manage, maintain, monitor and support our Azure environment to resolve critical and complex technical issues, leveraging your deep technical and product expertise in accordance with company security guidelines. Demonstrate critical thinking, strong communication, and problem solving skills, with the ability to preemptively identify and resolve issues. Develop, document and present training for the Infrastructure Engineering team. Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering team to not only support but deliver solutions and new capabilities to business stakeholders. Participate in recruiting, mentoring, and ramping up of new Cloud Engineers. Act as a technical escalation point within the team. Participate in case triage meetings to share knowledge with other engineers and develop efficient solutions. Consistently share best practices with team members and help document procedures and create knowledge base articles to solve/workaround current issues. Operational Excellence: Work with leadership on process improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives. Work across teams to ensure IT system upgrades, deployments and maintenance are conducted with minimal impact to the operation.
