Senior OTP Platform Engineer / Tech Lead (Remote). We are looking for a senior profile with strong technical and leadership capabilities to take ownership of a critical authentication platform (OTP) in an enterprise environment. What you will do: Lead the technical evolution of an OTP platform (generation, validation, and delivery). Design scalable, resilient, and high-availability architectures. Implement fallback logic, retries, and error handling. Integrate multiple systems and services (APIs, events, messaging). Improve observability (logs, metrics, monitoring). Ensure high standards of security and data protection. Collaborate with technical and business teams, acting as a technical reference. What we are looking for: Solid experience as a senior backend engineer in critical production systems. Strong knowledge of distributed architectures, microservices, and APIs. Experience in high-availability, scalable, and resilient systems. Management of complex integrations (APIs, webhooks, queues, events). Experience with cloud, containers, and production environments. Knowledge of security (authentication, encryption, access control). Fluent English (mandatory). Plus: Experience with OTP / SMS / WhatsApp / email systems; experience in enterprise or B2B environments; knowledge of queue systems and asynchronous processing. Originally posted on Himalayas.
