Role Title: Junior Lawyer Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Junior Lawyers to contribute to a customer’s project focused on enhancing legal AI systems. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work Review and annotate complex legal documents, agreements, and case law materials for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with U.S. legal standards. Conduct cite-checking and ensure strict adherence to Bluebook citation format throughout legal texts. Curate, edit, and evaluate legal writing samples to help develop datasets for AI training purposes. Provide detailed feedback on legal arguments, logical structure, and use of precedent within sample documents. Summarize intricate legal concepts in clear, concise language suitable for algorithmic understanding. Collaborate remotely with project managers and legal experts to meet project deliverables and quality benchmarks. Contribute to quality assurance processes by validating AI outputs against legal accuracy and best practices. Preferred Qualifications Graduation from a U.S. law school with a J.D. degree; strong preference for alumni or current students of T14 law schools.
