THE JOB: The Senior Network Firewall Engineer is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and support of network security solutions in a complex, distributed enterprise environment. Acting with a product ownership mindset, this role ensures firewall and connectivity solutions enhance the organization’s security, resilience, and agility. The engineer will contribute to secure connectivity strategy, manage firewall policies, support incident and problem resolution, monitor application and network health, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Staying ahead of emerging threats and trends, this role plays a critical part in maintaining and improving the enterprise’s overall security posture. THE DAY-TO-DAY: Lead the delivery of scalable, resilient, and secure firewall solutions across a large, distributed enterprise network, aligning with organizational security requirements and industry best practices. Utilize SNMP, network security policy tools, and observability platforms to monitor network health, ensure capacity planning, and drive proactive issue identification and resolution
