VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Deployment Architect

Position Overview MetroSys is seeking an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Deployment Architect to support a short-term enterprise infrastructure modernization project for a large public-sector organization. This consultant will be responsible for assessing the existing VMware environment, designing and deploying VMware Cloud Foundation infrastructure, and ensuring successful integration with the customer's networking, storage, and virtualization platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on VMware architect with extensive experience deploying and managing enterprise VMware environments, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, storage, high availability, and VMware Cloud Foundation. This engagement will involve working alongside a dedicated NSX Architect and additional infrastructure consultants. Deep NSX expertise is not required , as networking and microsegmentation responsibilities will be handled by a separate specialist. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, deployment, and configuration of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) infrastructure. Assess existing VMware environments and identify technical requirements, dependencies, and deployment considerations. Design and deploy VCF management and workload domains, including associated vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi components.
