Forward Deployed Systems Engineer Department: Engineering Experience: 3–5 years Employment: Full-time (Remote) Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on engineer with a strong combination of systems engineering, software development, infrastructure, and technical implementation experience. The candidate will develop software components, configure and deploy systems, integrate applications, and resolve technical challenges across infrastructure and application layers. The role requires the ability to move between coding, system administration, deployment, and implementation based on business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver who can work independently, understand complex technical environments, and take ownership of solutions from development through deployment and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities 1. Systems Engineering and Infrastructure Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers and application environments. Manage cloud infrastructure, virtual machines, networking, DNS, firewalls, and SSL/TLS configurations. Diagnose system-level issues involving resource utilization, connectivity, permissions, and application availability. Maintain system reliability, performance, security, and operational stability.
