Backend / Full Stack Developer (Mid to Senior)

We are looking for a Backend Developer who knows the web in-depth. We want someone who understands how an HTTP request flows through the system, can design a clean domain model, and set up an architecture that doesn't collapse as it grows. The UI part exists and we support it, but this role focuses on backend logic, data structure, APIs, and resilient systems. What you will do: - Design domain models and databases. - Implement APIs with a clear structure and distinct separation of concerns. - Work on business logic, pipelines, workflows, and background processes. - Performance optimization, scaling patterns, and monitoring. - Participate in architecture design and new services. - (When necessary) collaborate with the frontend to define data contracts and component interfaces. What we are looking for: - Multi-year experience in web development, with a primary focus on backend. - Deep understanding of HTTP: request lifecycle, headers, caching, authentication flows. - Ability to design data models and write efficient SQL queries. - Comfort with full-stack flow: not necessarily building UIs, but understanding the entire application end-to-end. - Experience in maintaining and evolving production systems. Nice to have (not deal breakers): - Experience in Elixir and Phoenix. - Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) to collaborate effectively. - TailwindCSS familiarity. - Previous exposure to distributed systems, message queues, or event-driven architecture.
