Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the Accounting Manager will take full ownership of MagicSchool ’s accounting and reporting function. This hands-on role will oversee month-end and quarter-end close, manage a Staff Accountant, and drive accounting processes as the business scales. As a fast-growing startup, MagicSchool is seeking a proactive, adaptable leader who can operate independently, improve processes, support international expansion, and prepare the company for its first external audit within the next 1–2 years. This role will also collaborate cross-functionally and gain exposure to FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, tax, treasury, and other finance functions. Candidates should be comfortable leveraging AI tools, such as Claude, to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
