About the Role
This is a remote work position. We are looking for a Structural Pathology Specialist to act as our "consulting brain." Your main mission will be to diagnose structural pathologies in buildings remotely and design rehabilitation plans while working alongside the on-site operational team. This role is not for traditional construction inspectors; it is designed for an expert in structural analysis. Diagnose root causes (flexure, shear, carbonation, settlements) using limited and remote evidence (photographs, reports). Design innovative and viable structural reinforcement solutions for real-world construction. Translate and communicate complex technical diagnoses to non-engineer clients. Lead technical investigations with high autonomy and lateral thinking to solve "rare cases." Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience strictly in structural engineering (if your experience is not exclusively in pathologies, a higher number of general years will be required). Language (Eliminatory): Advanced operational technical English to interpret American blueprints and regulations daily. Technical Knowledge (Proficiency in at least 3): American standards (ACI 364, ASCE 11), reinforcement design (FRP, micropiles), foundations, forensics, or root cause analysis. Mandatory Portfolio: Verifiable forensic dossier showing the magnitude, scope of your participation, and client in real pathology projects (redacted data under NDA is accepted).
