This is a remote position. English <> Italian interpreter. Language combination: Italian into English and vice versa. Location: Milan, Rome, and/or remote depending on the event. Employment type: Freelance. Field of expertise: various, from technical to financial. At STAR7, we support our customers throughout the entire product information and content life cycle. We are selecting linguists competent in the Italian <> English combination for current and future projects. The services we will collaborate on will be simultaneous or consecutive interpretation from Italian into English and vice versa. Your main tasks in this role will include: - Supporting our clients in understanding the content of events; - Ensuring that the target content correctly reflects the meaning of the source. Requirements: Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, Interpreting, or equivalent experience; Native speaker in one of the languages involved; Excellent command of Italian and English; Experience in simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services; Experience with interpretation systems (interpreter consoles, bidule, etc.); Linguistic and cultural skills of both the source and target language; Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment with frequent changes.
