Mortgage Claims Supervisor - Remote

Overview We are seeking to fill the role of Claims Supervisor. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with clients, industry partners and internal teams to maximize outcomes for homeowners. Responsibilities • Supervise and direct the activities of the Claims Department to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, investor guidelines, and applicable state/federal laws and regulations. • Enhance staff performance through goal setting, training, and coaching when applicable. • Monitor internal/external audit findings to ensure claims are filed in accordance with investor/agency/insurer requirements. • Participate in the implementation/development of procedures to increase efficiency; adjust to required changes when necessary. • Provide daily/weekly/monthly loan status in preparation of client calls as required/scheduled. • Review/approve department quality review responses to both internal and external audits. • React to and successfully navigate changes in daily/weekly volume to ensure continued success within the department. • Conduct monthly one-on-one meeting and performance scorecard for direct reports. • Facilitate and assist with training as necessary for both new and existing employees. • Review exception report for system data integrity and provide trends to management as applicable. • Resolve escalations from team members within the Supervisor’s scope of responsibility. • All other duties as assigned.
