Job Title: Scientific Director -- Epidemiology Job Location: Remote, Massachusetts, USA Job Location Type: Remote Job Contract Type: Full-time Job Seniority Level: Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description Purpose : The Scientific Director of Epidemiology will oversee the team of Research Scientists/Research Associates and their activities including awarded projects and commercial activities. Essential Functions and Other Job Information: The Director will collaborate with colleagues in other functional areas including those in Biostats, Non-Interventional Studies, Scientific Management, and Business Operations teams. This person must have a successful track record of managing teams and overseeing the execution of multiple projects across both internal and external stakeholders. They must also have excellent client management and consulting skills as well as be a strong collaborator with internal stakeholders The Scientific Director will play the following roles: Effectively lead the Epidemiology team to ensure projects are scientifically rigorous, address the needs of the client, and are delivered on time and on budget Develop and implement business strategies to ensure implementing state of the art processes that improve commercial activities Assist teams in troubleshooting issues, resolving conflicts and reaching consensus with stakeholders.
