Mechanical Design Engineer, C-UAS/EW

Moodro is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D team and turn ideas and prototypes into robust, well-engineered mechanical solutions ready for field testing and volume production. This is a highly hands-on role for an engineer who wants to own mechanical design from first concept through prototype, test, and production. You will design enclosures, mounts, and mechanical assemblies for advanced electronic and RF systems that must perform reliably in demanding real-world operating environments, and you will see your designs tested and used in the field. The ideal candidate is not someone who simply produces CAD models and drawings. They are someone who takes ownership of the mechanical product, understands the environment it must survive, thinks about manufacturability from day one, and uses test results and field feedback to make the design better with every iteration. The majority of the role will be focused on mechanical design, analysis, and engineering documentation, with regular hands-on time building and testing prototypes, and working with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
