Director, Hypersonics Growth - Defense Sector

Leidos is seeking a Director, Hypersonics Growth to lead and execute growth strategies across the hypersonics portfolio. This role is responsible for identifying, shaping, and capturing new business opportunities aligned to customer mission needs across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Department of Energy. The Director will report to the VP Kinetics Growth and work closely with technical, program, financial, and executive leadership to drive sustainable growth, mature customer relationships, and position Leidos as a trusted hypersonics mission partner. Primary Responsibilities Lead and execute the hypersonics growth strategy aligned with business area, division, and enterprise objectives. Identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities from early customer engagement through contract award. Serve as Business Development Lead for priority hypersonics pursuits. Develop and implement win strategies, including customer engagement plans, competitive assessments, and teaming strategies. Establish and maintain senior-level customer relationships across DoD Services, OSD, DARPA, MDA, AFRL, ONR, SDA, DOE, and other relevant organizations. Own and manage the hypersonics growth division’s budget, staffing, and pipeline, including oversight of growth and capture budgets, workforce planning, and pipeline development and forecast accuracy.
