We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who, in addition to building and operating pipelines, will assume architectural responsibility for the event-driven data platform: topic and event contract design, streaming ingestion patterns, PySpark processing, and performance, resiliency, and cost decisions in the AWS environment. This is a heavy technical execution position: the person will write code, tune Kafka and Spark, review third-party designs, and be responsible for the reliability of data powering executive dashboards, client reports, and regulatory obligations. The environment is regulated, operating within the financial and investment markets, where traceability and reproducibility are essential.
