Manager, Avionics Engineering

Please review the job details below. Lanteris Space is seeking a Manager of Avionics Engineering to join our team in San Jose CA. This role may also be performed remotely within the U.S. this role, you will report to the Avionics Subsystem Senior Manager and be responsible for leading an engineering team responsible for Avionics Unit Development, Command and Data Handling subsystem design, analysis, hardware procurement, and testing. You and your team will work alongside a highly cross-functional team and will have the ability to impact all phases of spacecraft design and build: working to build out product roadmaps and develop new Avionics architectures for our various spacecraft platforms, implementation of designs with Systems and Subsystem Engineering, powering on the spacecraft and collecting data for the first time in AIT, and finally, performing orbit raising activities as the fully built-up spacecraft is on its way to performing its mission. You are technical in nature. You are business savvy. You can build teams and develop people. Responsibilities Lead your team: responsible for Spacecraft Subsystem Command and Data Handling (C&DH). This includes working cross-functionally to design C&DH subsystem architecture, wirelists, command & telemetry databases, and data buses.
