Junior Database Analyst - Remote

Job Mission: Support the maintenance, monitoring, and support of database environments, ensuring data availability, security, and performance in compliance with the organization's technical and regulatory guidelines. Main Responsibilities: Support the administration of SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases (creation, maintenance, and updates); Develop technical skills in Oracle environments through internal training, assisted projects, and supervised activities; Execute backup and recovery routines under supervision; Assist in database performance monitoring and report generation; Handle database-related support tickets and provide user support; Collaborate with development teams in analyzing and tuning SQL queries; Document technical processes and manuals related to databases; Support the implementation of basic security and access control policies; Monitor data migration and version upgrade activities. Requirements: Education: Complete or ongoing higher education in Information Technology or related fields; Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database administration; Familiarity with database monitoring and backup tools. Certifications: ITIL v3 Foundation certification or higher is desirable; MTA/MCSA SQL Server certification or equivalent is desirable; Introductory knowledge of Oracle environments is desirable.
