This is a fully remote position responsible for accurate and timely coding of outpatient and ambulatory patient encounters and supporting the facility's efforts to reduce its existing coding backlog and maintain coding currency. The successful candidate will be an experienced, self-directed coding professional who is comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing priorities and productivity requirements, and communicating professionally with providers, business office staff, and IHS leadership.
