CAD Solution Design New Business Projects

The Kardex Group is one of the world's leading manufacturers of dynamic storage and distribution systems and employs over 2,900 people. Kardex Mlog, part of the group, specializes in integrated material flow systems and automated high-bay warehouses. For more than 50 years, we have been developing solutions to increase efficiency and productivity in intralogistics. As a CAD Solution Designer, you will translate given planning concepts for intralogistic systems into precise 3D CAD layouts. Using Autodesk Inventor and Factory Design Utilities (FDU), you will create technical drawings for budget, quotation, and order phases. You can work either in Neuenstadt am Kocher or 100% remotely within Germany. Your tasks: Creation of 3D planning and concept layouts for intralogistic systems using Autodesk Inventor and Factory Design Utilities (FDU) based on provided planning data; Creation of scale and traceable CAD layouts to support budget, quotation, and order phases; Transfer of agreed system concepts into detailed 3D CAD drawings; Maintenance and updating of order layouts based on approved changes in coordination with Solution Design and the responsible specialist departments; Integration and positioning of standardized system components from the Kardex intralogistics library in Inventor FDU; Checking drawings for geometric plausibility, completeness, and freedom from collisions.
