In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the values on which our company was founded. As is the case with everyone we hire, this position will test you and push your critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills to help us solve complex problems. We’re looking for counsel who can integrate well with our claims culture. Our perfect candidate understands the auto claims world, is financially savvy, articulates both sides of an issue with clarity, digests complex information quickly and accurately, and is comfortable making decisions. This role is vital to our claims team’s success. You will report to a Managing Attorney who reports to the Chief Claims Officer. Root is a “work where it works best” company. Meaning we will support you working in whatever location that works best for you across the US. We will continue to have our headquarters in Columbus. Salary Range : $140,000 - $155,000 (STI & LTI Eligible) How You Will Make an Impact Apply experienced insight to private passenger automobiles, contract interpretation, multi-state tort law, civil procedure, and litigation matters.
