UX Designer

Conducts user research (if needed), creates wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys. Focuses on how users interact with the site and ensures the experience is intuitive and logical. Responsibilities: Mapping user flows, designing information architecture, usability testing, and collaborating with developers for implementation User Research & Discovery: Interview users, run surveys, observe behavior Build personas and empathy maps Identify user needs, motivations, and pain points Conduct early concept testing using simple prototypes or mockups Determine accessibility needs and constraints Preferred Qualifications: Experience with designing websites Experience conducting user research and usability testing Experience creating user journeys and site maps Experience improving website navigation and accessibility Experience analyzing user feedback and making design improvements Designing websites that meet accessibility standards (WCAG) Originally posted on Himalayas
