Senior Java Backend Engineer

This is a remote job position. Scale high-impact distributed architectures as a Senior Java Backend Engineer. We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer with a solid technical vision, capable of leading the design of high-performance distributed services, making technical decisions with good judgment, and ensuring excellence in critical production environments. Your Challenges and Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend services and robust REST APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. Orchestrate and operate containerized applications in Kubernetes, managing pod configurations, health probes, and continuous deployments. Implement event-driven architectures and high-performance asynchronous messaging using Kafka or RabbitMQ. Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing complex queries and execution plans in relational databases. Ensure comprehensive observability of services through metrics, distributed traces, structured logs, and participate in operational availability (on-call support one week per month). What We Are Looking For In You Over 5 years of solid backend development experience with the Java and Spring Boot ecosystem. Practical experience in designing and deploying systems in cloud environments.
