Business Development Manager (UK)

B2B 360 business development, sales, and account management role covering market intelligence. Based nationwide (preference for those near London, Cambridge or an international airport). IDTechEx is recruiting a Business Development Manager. In this B2B 360 role, the candidate will identify and engage new prospects; meet with prospects to understand their needs and convey our solutions; manage and grow client accounts; and represent IDTechEx at international events. We are seeking candidates who are able to regularly travel to meet with clients and attend events, capable of engaging with and successfully selling to senior business professionals, and who have shown they can develop and grow accounts. IDTechEx is a market intelligence firm selling reports, subscriptions and consulting, and we will consider all applicants with a sales background that could be applicable to market intelligence from other sectors such as SaaS, publishing, consultancy, events, and those that have sold other premium B2B services and offerings. The candidate should have at least five years of successful sales experience, preferably across new business development and account management. Candidates who are able to speak additional languages is a strong plus, but not a requirement.
