Chief Technology Officer (m/w/d)

Here is what awaits you at ida: As CTO, you will assume strategic leadership of our tech unit and its approximately 40 employees. Your focus will not be on operational project work, but on management: you will set the direction for the unit, ensure reliability, and create the framework conditions in which our teams can perform at their best. Together with our team leads, you will be responsible for the professional and personal development of the unit, meaning you will develop people and structures rather than writing code yourself. Naturally, you will keep an eye on the unit's workload and capacities, using proactive resource and capacity planning to ensure our teams are neither overworked nor underutilized. As our CTO, you will track technology trends for ida, understand current developments and workflows in implementing complex software projects, and actively drive the topic of AI – from strategic classification to concrete benefits for our work and that of our clients. Speaking of which: Without our clients, we would be nothing. Therefore, you will closely align the technological vision with them and accompany them as a sparring partner on their journey. Furthermore, you will challenge our effort estimations and technical concepts for major projects and tenders, question them constructively, and thus help us plan realistically and deliver cleanly. In addition, you will be a
