This is a remote position. Job summary: As an Accountant at IBS, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, contributing to strategic financial decisions, and ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, from managing accounts payable and receivable to reconciling financial statements and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Performing bank reconciliations, identifying discrepancies, and resolving financial issues. Processing payroll accurately and on time, adhering to regulatory requirements. Preparing and analysing financial statements, highlighting key insights and trends. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and complete financial data. Utilizing your expertise in Xero accounting software to streamline financial processes. Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections. Providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations for strategic planning. Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements. Assisting in the preparation of BAS returns and ensuring adherence to tax regulations. Supporting the Group Accountant and senior leadership with ad hoc financial projects.
