Across all ISOs and RTOs in the United States, the Director will be responsible for developing and implementing interconnection and transmission strategies for energy projects; staying attuned to federal, state, ISO/RTO, and transmission owner rules for renewable generator interconnections; filing and negotiating new interconnection agreements; administering existing interconnection contracts including financial and operational terms and conditions; supporting the Senior Director in executive support activities, including financing, common facilities agreements, and FERC filings; and leading a team of Interconnection Analysts. A key part of the role will be managing relationships with ISO/RTO staff and specific third parties such as generators, utilities, public power entities, and selected large customers relative to transmission interconnections and service.
