Become a part of our caring community The Senior Counsel provides a full range of legal advice and services. The Senior Counsel works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. Humana is seeking a highly motivated Senior Counsel to join our Law Department. The successful candidate will provide legal support and guidance on matters related to counseling, including artificial intelligence (AI). You will also support the department's adoption of legal technology and AI. Additionally, you will establish best practices for responsible AI use by the Law department and its outside counsel. Furthermore, they will provide legal support and guidance on e-Discovery, records management, vendor diligence, and external reviews. You will support enterprise‑wide AI initiatives by assisting in the development, governance, and implementation of safe and responsible AI systems. Key responsibilities for this role include: Support legal reviews related to the development and deployment of AI products and systems. Provide analysis and advice on AI regulations and standards. Collaborate and consult with leaders throughout the company to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and protection against AI risk. Collaborates with AI product developers, engineers, data scientists, various business and legal teams and advise on applicable laws and ways to manage risk.
