About the Role
POS-33705 HubSpot provides software in the marketing, sales, and customer service/success domains centered around its CRM. With the mission to "Help Millions of Organization Grow Better," our team is committed to customer success and growth. This position, "Senior Customer Onboarding Specialist," is responsible for providing onboarding support and consulting to customers who have contracted HubSpot in the rapidly expanding Japanese market. Onboarding specialists are the first point of contact with customers within the customer success team. Shortening the "Time to value" (the time it takes from when a customer uses the service to when they realize its value) during this period heavily influences subsequent customer success and plays a major role in a subscription business. Furthermore, as a senior consultant to successfully implement HubSpot, you need a broad industry understanding, the ability to design and operate complex systems, and the capacity to manage multiple stakeholders. You will translate customer business goals into measurable onboarding objectives and design solutions based on best practices. We are looking for team members who are excited about changes in the Japanese marketing, sales, and customer service/success domains, and who are committed not only to customer success but also to their own growth in this field. Responsibilities: Conduct interviews regarding customers' business goals, challenges, and organizational structures to connect HubSpot to concrete business impact, and support initial setup and implementation. Design scalable solutions tailored to complex business processes and data models. Advise customers on technical topics such as integrations and APIs. Understand new features and product updates and adapt them to business operations. Collaborate internally with sales and customer success managers to achieve a frictionless customer experience. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Lead first-year contract renewals to success. Minimum Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of experience in any of the following: Marketing, sales, or customer success/service-related operations; CRM or marketing automation-related consulting. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment. Ability to advise on technical elements (integrations, APIs) and strategic aspects of customer growth. Communication skills to tailor messages to diverse audiences (technical staff, executive management). Genuine dedication to customer success and challenges, working collaboratively toward shared goals. Commitment to learning new fields and personal growth. Native-level Japanese proficiency and business-level English proficiency in reading and writing. Preferred Qualifications: Practical utilization or consulting experience with CRM or marketing automation. Understanding of the conceptual mechanics of APIs and system integrations. About HubSpot: HubSpot (NYSE: HUBS) was founded in Boston, USA in 2006, and its products are used by over 95,000 customers in more than 120 countries, including Japan. Be sure to read up on the "Inbound Marketing" and "Flywheel" concepts at the core of its products. We invest heavily in human resources and organizational development, considering company culture to be a "product" of the company just like the services and products we provide to our customers.
