Presales Solution Engineer - Edge AI Description - Role Summary The Presales Solution Engineer – Edge AI is a customer-facing technical leader responsible for transforming Edge AI opportunities into measurable business outcomes and production-ready solutions. This role works across the complete customer journey—from discovery and solution architecture through Proof of Concept (POC), validation, deployment, and production scale. The Solution Engineer serves as the technical bridge between customer requirements, HP 's Edge AI capabilities, Advanced Compute platforms, partners, and delivery organizations. Success is measured not simply by successful demonstrations or POCs, but by the ability to move customers from concept to production and deliver measurable business value. Customer Discovery & Technical Strategy Partner with customers, account teams, Enterprise Architects, and business stakeholders to understand business challenges, technical requirements, workloads, infrastructure, data environments, and desired outcomes. Translate customer requirements into actionable Edge AI and Advanced Compute architectures and implementation strategies. Identify opportunities where AI inference, computer vision, intelligent edge workloads, advanced compute, and related technologies can improve customer operations or create new business capabilities.
