The Summer 2027 Strategic Planning Internship provides students with an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise growth initiatives, strategic planning efforts, and business transformation activities across Highmark Health and its affiliates. This internship is designed to develop the next generation of business leaders by providing direct exposure to corporate strategy development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), growth execution, business analysis, and enterprise decision-making within a complex healthcare organization. As a member of the Strategic Planning team, the intern will work closely with business leaders and strategy professionals to support initiatives that drive organizational growth and long-term success. Participants will gain valuable insight into how strategic priorities are developed, evaluated, and implemented, including exposure to post-acquisition integration activities, enterprise transformation efforts, and key business decisions that shape the future of the organization.
