The Summer 2027 Software Engineer Undergraduate Internship provides students with an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on software engineering experience supporting the development and enhancement of web-based applications within HM Insurance Group’s Stop Loss Platform. This internship is designed to develop the next generation of technology professionals through direct exposure to enterprise application development, agile methodologies, software design, and modern engineering practices. As a member of the software engineering team, the intern will work closely with developers, architects, business analysts, product owners, and scrum team members to support the design, development, testing, and delivery of business-critical applications. Participants will gain valuable experience working on real-world project and enhancement initiatives while contributing to solutions that support operational efficiency, scalability, and customer needs. The program provides hands-on training and exposure to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Interns will collaborate within Agile Scrum teams, participate in sprint activities, and contribute to software solutions that leverage modern technologies and development practices. Typic
