About the Role High 5 Games is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to help us build the next generation of land-based, online, mobile, and social games. We are looking for an outstanding software tester who thrives on hunting down bugs, has a keen eye for a flawless user experience, and possesses a genuine passion for the gaming industry. As our QA Engineer, you will act as the final gatekeeper for our releases, going beyond surface-level checks to deeply analyze game logic, mechanics, and client/server backend systems. Collaborating directly with developers and designers in an Agile environment, you will be trusted with sensitive, pre-release game data—making absolute integrity, discretion, and reliability essential to your success. Responsibilities Game Analysis & Test Execution: Deeply analyze slot game mechanics and features to identify potential flaws. Write and execute thorough test plans and creative test cases, ensuring coverage of complex scenarios and edge cases that standard testing might miss. Root Cause Analysis & Debugging: Analyze historical data, crash logs, and backtraces using basic debugging techniques to help engineers categorize and identify the root causes of issues. Cross-Platform UI/UX QA: Ensure the user interface is top-notch by performing rigorous mobile (iOS/Android) and cross-browser testing for a seamless player experience.
