DRG Validator (Full-time)

Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services (HCCS) is seeking an experienced DRG Validator to join our growing team. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity for a highly skilled coding professional with extensive experience in DRG validation, inpatient auditing, and complex inpatient coding. CCS certification required. CDIP and/or CCDS certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of recent APR-DRG/DRG coding experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher. Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient auditing experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher. Previous DRG/APR-DRG validation experience required. Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines, MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignment, reimbursement methodologies, and documentation requirements.
