Senior Consultant - State Energy

Job Family: Management Consulting Travel Required: Up to 25% Clearance Required: None Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to support state energy agencies, regulators, and other public-sector organizations as they address critical challenges related to clean energy, grid modernization, affordability, infrastructure planning, and program implementation. Senior Consultants lead defined workstreams, develop analyses and deliverables, guide junior team members, and help clients make informed decisions. What You Will Do: Client Delivery & Analysis Lead assigned project tasks or workstreams by coordinating activities, managing priorities, tracking progress, and delivering high-quality work products. Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses related to energy policy, programs, operations, infrastructure, markets, and public-sector investments, translating complex information into actionable findings and recommendations. Develop client-ready presentations, reports, analyses, and other deliverables that support client goals and decision-making. Collaborate with project teams, client counterparts, and subcontractors to advance workstream objectives, address risks and issues, and support successful project delivery. Participate in client meetings, workshops, interviews, and working sessions, communicating effectively with stakeholders and escalating broader project issues as appropriate. Team Leadership & Collaboration Build productive working relationships with client
