Java Backend – AI-Assisted Code Analyst. About the opportunity: We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to work on code analysis, review, and optimization using Generative Artificial Intelligence tools. The professional will work on evolving critical applications, reducing technical debt, improving software quality, and supporting the adoption of modern development practices in an agile and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Participate in solution design and software architecture; Review, improve, and optimize source code using advanced AI tools and development best practices; Document technical solutions and evolutions in JIRA, Confluence, and/or ALM; Analyze applications developed in Java and Spring Boot, ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability; Use AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Devin, to accelerate code analysis, refactoring, and documentation; Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities; Support the implementation of best practices in both Backend and Frontend development; Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD processes; Interact with production support teams to track and resolve demands. Mandatory requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Developer; Practical experience with Artificial Intelligence tools for development, such as: GitHub Copilot; Devin.
