Java Backend Developer with OpenShift and Cassandra About the opportunity We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to work on the development and support of distributed applications, using microservices architecture and modern technologies. The professional will be part of an agile, collaborative, and high-availability-oriented environment, contributing to the evolution of business-critical solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud; Develop and consume REST APIs; Perform deployments and operate applications in OpenShift; Integrate Backend services with Frontend applications developed in React; Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and Continuous Integration (CI) processes; Analyze incidents and implement performance, scalability, and security improvements; Work closely with Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Product teams. Mandatory requirements Solid experience in Java Backend development; Spring Boot; Microservices Architecture; Cassandra database; Docker containers; OpenShift platform; Development and integration of REST APIs; Version control using Git; Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban). English B2 Spanish B2 Differentials Experience with React; Knowledge of CI/CD, especially with GitHub Actions; Experience with Cloud environments, such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
