🩺 Java Developer - Healthcare Systems Integration (HL7 / FHIR) Remote | Portugal Time Zone | Public Sector / Digital Health. Opportunity Summary: We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in healthcare systems integration and knowledge of HL7 standards (V2 or FHIR). The professional will work on the development and maintenance of interoperability solutions, ensuring efficient communication between different clinical systems and health platforms. This is a 100% remote position, involving international collaboration in a high technical responsibility environment with a direct impact on the public health sector. Main Responsibilities: Maintain and evolve integration systems between different healthcare applications. Develop Java applications for clinical data exchange using HL7 v2.x or FHIR. Create and configure HL7 interfaces (sending, receiving, and message transformation). Implement message routing and transformation solutions (e.g., between ADT, ORM, ORU). Integrate Java applications with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, interoperability platforms, and clinical services. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and integration needs. Ensure compliance with health data regulations (LGPD, GDPR, HIPAA, when applicable). Execute unit and integration tests on all developed solutions. Diagnose and resolve incidents related to data exchange and interfaces.
