Senior QA/Mobile Testing Specialist - MEAN - REMOTE

Category: IT Services Location: Fort Western Province Sri Lanka We are urgently looking for a REMOTE Senior QA/Mobile testing Specialist for an international organization in New York. Candidates need to be fluent in English. This position is open for freelancers and employees. Candidates need to be able to work 2-3 hours per day in the normal office hours of New York, US. (Example 9 AM NY time equals 7:30 PM.) QA Specialist with a background in agile software development and strong expertise in functional end-to-end testing, test automation, manual/automated testing for mobile web applications. Candidates must have experience working with MEAN platform teams building large consumer-facing web applications from the ground up. Tasks and responsibilities: Create test automation frameworks from the ground up using Selenium WebDriver in several simultaneous projects; Responsible for developing, modifying, and executing test scripts and analyzing bugs; Perform manual testing on a variety of browsers and operating systems; Run various tests on new software products to ensure that applications satisfy all specifications and requirements; Record all defect details, creating and distributing reports outlining the types of defects found and the steps taken to resolve these issues and update the regression test framework; Automate API testing using Postman and similar tools; Work closely with developers to recognize the potential for any operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issu
