Gold Standard is a civil society NGO and a standards body that promotes the best that can be achieved in climate and development projects. In close collaboration with its network of partners (civil society, governments, and private sector), Gold Standard leads several global innovation programs and supports4000+ climate and development projects in over100 countries worldwide. The role is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's methodology development function, focusing on carbon accounting and impact measurement methodologies for community, energy and carbon removal sectors. It supports the drive for innovation in measurement frameworks while ensuring alignment with Paris Agreement, international standards, impact verification requirements and best practices approaches. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Support the development andmanagementofimpactquantificationmethodologies withfocuson measurement, reporting, and verification frameworks. Manage and coordinate technical working groups formethodologydevelopment and enhancement. Oversee multiple parallelmethodologydevelopment processes for various carbon accounting applications. Lead and mentor technical teams in carbon accountingmethodologydevelopment. Identifyemerging opportunities for new and innovative metho
