Strategic Clients Manager, Geisinger Health Plan (Pennsylvania resident)

Location: Work from home (Pennsylvania) Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: Yes Job Summary: Responsible for retaining and increasing membership and expanding relationships with key clients through effective salesmanship and responsive service. (The majority of the targeted client base includes strategic business partners, large/jumbo employer groups, pilot projects and enhanced population management in mid/large employer groups.) Job Duties: Manages select list of strategic clients identified by health plan senior leadership. Serves as GIO’s primary contact, providing a high level of responsive service, managing client expectations and identifying and implementing enhancements. Serves as internal lead to maximize interdepartmental operations and administrative collaboration on behalf of strategic clients. (Ability to optimize relationships with key personnel from essential internal departments like Underwriting, Actuarial Informatics, CSO, Health Services and Provider Network Management is critical.) Positions GIO to leverage its brand with other strategic prospects by elevating GIO’s reputation for providing responsive and superior customer service. Coordinates group renewals, which include rate submission, premium quotes, post enrollment paperwork and actual employee meetings.
